How to burn DVDs that you rent?

I have a newer MacBook Macintosh computer. Can I rent DVDs from a video store and somehow burn them to my own DVDs. I have worked with mac for a long time but have never tried this. any suggestions would be very benefecial! and thanks! how come everyone always wants to tell me what to do like the police instead of answering my question? i mean jesus! he was a man! with a plan! like me! even thoug i aint religious.

  2. What you're asking is can we tell you how to illegally copy videos you don't own. If you like the movie that much, buy it. Stop trying to scam the system.
  3. certain DVD's have locks on them so you can't burn them. this is a precaution to elminate pirate copies.

  5. you should only make backups of discs you own, but there are programs on the net google search dvdfab and dvd shrink the 2 work together to make backups of dvds but I beleive they are for windows. so you might want to get a pc.
